We plan to recruit several Ph.D. and master's students for Jan 2027 and Fall 2027 (with full funding support and decent computational support) in the following directions.
- Industrial Applications of Large Language Models
- Trustworthiness and Explainability for Small LLMs
- Foundation Models for Reinforcement Learning (Safety, Generalization)
- Model-based and Data-Efficient Reinforcement Learning
- AI/RL for Energy/Transportation/Telecommunication
- Time Series Forecasting (Non-stationary environment and limited resource/data)
We also welcome visiting scholars. It would be nice if the candidates could have a strong background in machine learning/control.
